Placing Your Order

Many items are offered with customized features such as engraving, color choices, etc. Please be sure to complete the sections of the order form that pertain to your customization choices. Check all personalization and engraving information carefully for spelling and punctuation before submission.  All orders are personalized to the exact specifications you specify.

Ordering Options

Orders can be placed online at any time via our secure website. You can also phone in your order to 1-800-353-0588.

Bulk Orders and Volume Discounts

Many of our products are available in large quantities with volume discounts and bulk pricing.  Bulk orders can be placed with or without personalization.  For bulk pricing your order should consist of 12 of more pieces of the same product.  To receive bulk pricing contact customer service for a discount code to apply to your order during checkout.

Gift Wrap & Gift Messages

A gift message can be included with your purchase at no charge.  Enter the sentiment you wish to include with your gift purchase and your sentiment will be shown on the packing slip.  Most products can be gift wrapped for an additional charge.  You can select the type of gift wrap for your gift and enter your gift message.  We use quality gift wrap and finish your package with a hand tied bow. Gift messages are entered during checkout. 

How long does it take to receive my order

Engraved gifts generally will ship within 3-5 days. Wedding Invitations are shipped approximately a week after your final proof has been approved. Our custom wedding accessories are made to order and may take up to 4 weeks during peak times to be custom made and shipped.  We know how important finding the perfect wedding accessories can be.  For this reason custom made orders are sometimes made, not in the order they were received, but by the wedding date needed.  This policy allows us to meet the demand for our custom made products and ensures our customers that they will receive their order in plenty of time for their wedding.

Ship To Locations and Service Offered

We currently ship to all 50 US States as well as Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. Addresses containing a PO Box MUST be shipped via the United States Postal Service.  During checkout you can select shipping service from the United States Postal Service, FedEx, and UPS. Please provide your current shipping address with your order.

Shipping Rates

Shipping costs are based on weight and location.  We use real time shipping rates provided by each carrier.  Shipping costs for invitations are determined by our invitation manufacturers at the time of purchase and will be shown during checkout.

Rush Orders 

Rush orders are generally available without an additional fee involved. Simply call Customer Service to see if we can meet your needs and to receive a quote for expedited shipping if it is necessry.

Custom Orders

If you have something specific in mind for your wedding accessories and do not see it on our website, contact our wedding designer at designer@makethisdayspecial.com. Our designer contracts special orders and would be happy to consult with you on elegantly bringing your idea to life.

International Orders

We currently ship internationally to Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. Customers who are located outside of these areas can call Customer Service at 800-353-0588 to place an order and receive a shipping price to your location. Orders via email are also accepted. International shipments are shipped via USPS International Priority Mail or USPS Global Express Mail. International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes and fees that are due on their purchase and any fees incurred are generally collected upon delivery of your order.

Payment Methods

We securely accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express via our secure website or by phone. Our payment processor has Verisign fraud protection software installed. Your credit card name, billing address and zip code must match the information on file with your credit card company. All credit card information is digitally encrypted to maintain your privacy and security. We NEVER share any information about our customers.

We have partnered with Authorize.Net, a leading payment gateway since 1996, to offer safe and secure credit card transactions for our customers.  The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway manages the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the credit card and electronic check processing networks.  The company adheres to strict industry standards for payment processing, including:

Back Orders/Out of Stock Items

In the unlikely event an item you ordered is out of stock or backordered, you will be given the option of an immediate refund or the opportunity to have the item sent to you as soon as it becomes available.

Sales Tax

All orders shipped to an address in New York State will be charged sales tax at the rate of 8%.

Returns

Personalized and engraved products are not returnable due to the nature of the product. It is important to be sure you supply accurate engraving and color details with your order. If we have any questions about your order, you will be contacted for clarification before your order is processed. In the unlikely event an error is made on our part, your item will be replaced at no cost to you. All other eligible Returns and Exchanges must be in the their original packaging and condition. All returns must include a return authorization number. Please call customer service at 1-(800) 353-0588 for a return authorization number. Returns made without an authorization number will not be accepted. Please inspect your package immediately upon arrival, any damages made during shipping must be filed with the shipping partner.

Shipping damages must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt of your order.

Cancellations

Due to the production time and customization of our products, we cannot guarantee that your order can be cancelled after it is placed. We will do our best to accommodate such requests.
