Make This Day Special uses a professional computerized rotary engraving system that permanently etches your wording on to the product. Engraving is available in Standard English only.  The cost of engraving is included in all our prices, there are no hidden fees or per character charges for this service.  Each item will describe the engraving available for that particular product, your personalization will be required prior to adding the item to your shopping cart.  If you prefer not to have your item engraved, enter NONE in the engraving information fields for your item.

Multiple Quantities of Personalized Gifts

If purchasing multiple quantities of the same item and each piece requires different engraving, you must add each item separately to the shopping cart, indicating the engraving for each item.

If you are purchasing multiple quantities of an item and would like to each piece engraved the same, simply update your quantity in the shopping cart to the number you wish to purchase.

Spelling and  Punctuation

Verify the spelling, punctuation, and capitalization of your personalization. All engraving is done per your specifications and exactly as provided in the engraving area. Dates are engraved in the format you specify (i.e., December 10, 2011 or 12/10/11).

Logos

Many of our products are great for corporate gifts and company promotions.  Your company logo can be added to most of our products for a one-time logo set up fee of $34.95 which converts your logo to our engraving software. There is no additional per piece charge for having your logo engraved.  Logos need to be submitted in camera ready form, preferably in black and white.  Please send us your highest quality image in  .ai, .bmp, .jpg, or .gif format.  Contact customer service at info@makethisdayspecial.com for additional information on this service, to send your logo for review, or request a sample.

Special Symbols

Special symbols can be engraved on select items for a nominal charge.  If you choose to have a special symbol engraved on your purchase, the special symbol will be placed in the most aesthetically pleasing area for the item purchased.  For example, if you purchase a wedding cake knife and server and choose to have a special symbol engraved on your pieces, the special symbol will be engraved between your names.

Monograms feature a larger initial (last name initial) in the center of a group of initials.  Monogram can represent an individual name or a couple's monogram.  The initials of a monogram should be engraved in this order: first name initial, last name initial, middle name initial.

The name Cathy Marie Smith would translate to the initials in this order for a monogram: CSM. 

Monograms for couples would have the women's initial first, the last name initial second and the man's initial third.  For example, Sue and John Brown would have the monogram SBJ. Monogram initials will be engraved in the exact order you indicate in the monogram font chosen.
